JSS College of Arts, Commerce and Science (JSSCACS) Alumni Association has great pleasure in welcoming you. We hope and wish that you would be the role models to the present and all future batches of JSSCACS students. At JSSCACS we believe in fostering a strong alumni network that not only helps former students remain connected but also provide an avenue for the philanthropic spirit of successful alumni. The Alumni Association will provide a platform for sharing your intellectual, cultural, career and professional experiences not just with the present students but also with other alumni. Our goal in the Alumni Association is to enable you to remain connected with JSSCACS in order to promote stronger connections, and provide opportunities for dialogue, sharing knowledge, voluntary service, social interaction and philanthropy.

The relationship between an educational institution and its Alumni Association is symbiotic. A person’s Alma Mater plays a significant role in shaping a person’s knowledge, skills and attitude. It provides a launching pad for a person stepping into adulthood. JSSCACS has played this role significantly in the lives of thousands of students and will continue to do so for years to come. And, when the students do step into the world, they become brand ambassadors for the institution.

The JSSCACS Alumni Association has been in existence since 2007 in a rather informal way. The college is now in full gear to hold Annual Alumni meetings. These meetings will always be attended by a core committee, executive committee and all of Alumni members. The emphasis will be more on providing an opportunity for the Alumni to connect with the campus and faculty and be abreast of developments in the college. The activities of JSSCACS Alumni Association in the pipeline is to organize guest lectures, conduct training programs for students in soft skills and facing interviews and providing inputs for projects. Office bearers will be elected every year and they will carry the baton till the next year. We hope this website will facilitate and strengthen this connect between students who have passed through the corridors of this College and will do so in the years to come.

The purpose of the JSSCACS Alumni Association can therefore be enunciated as follows

Between the Alumni themselves: A meeting point to share knowledge, experiences, views and opportunities.

Between Alumni and Faculty: Provide faculty members with one of the many windows to the outside world, help network with industry, supplement their teaching resources with guest lectures, seminars and the like and ultimately, help in collaborative research efforts between industry and faculty.

Between Alumni and Students: Provide leadership as mentors & role-models, promote project & placement opportunities and encourage excellence through sponsorship of prizes and awards.

Between Alumni and Institution: Contribute to Institution’s efforts towards social causes and building infrastructure. And in turn benefit from the Institution’s reputation as one of the country’s leading places for learning.

The Life membership fee is Rs. 1000=00

The Annual membership fee is Rs. 200=00
